Brand
Kilacha has distinguished itself as a name referring to the best and unique products from Kilacha Agriculture and Livestock Training Center. It is common to hear about ‘KILACHA CHICKS’ or ‘KILACHA CHICKEN’. Kilacha chicken is available as both ‘raw chicken’ and ‘roasted chicken meat’.

The Kilacha Agriculture and Livestock Training Center product range is not limited to poultry products alone but extends to ‘Kilacha Milk’, ‘Kilacha Bricks’ and ‘Kilacha Aggregates’.

The bricks and aggregates are made of different sizes and shapes to meet customer requirements and tastes. In the near future Kilacha Agriculture and Livestock Training Center will release new products to include Kilacha Pork, Kilacha Sunflower Oil, Kilacha Fish,  Kilacha Chicken Feed and Kilacha green charcoal. The name ‘Kilacha’ rose to its height because of adherence to quality, customer care and moral values which are the cornerstone of the Kilacha brand.

Production and training at our center are governed by three aspects that constitute our brand:

Quality Products
Customer Care
Morals

HATCHERY

A hatchery is a facility where eggs are hatched under artificial conditions. In our farm we take the best eggs from our poultry. The whole process is conducted with the utmost respect for animals.

The eggs are cleaned and shells checked for soundness before being put into the incubators where they stay under controlled temperature and humidity. The entire process takes about 28 days. The eggs stay for seven days in a cold room, then they are transferred to the setters for 18 days. The process ends with the eggs shifted from the setters to the hatcher for three days until they hatch. Every week eggs are shifted in order to produce a continuous flow. We have two types of chicks:

  • The Layers for eggs
  • The Broilers for meat
